Welcome

Hello, and welcome to the new blog. This is my first post I will create so I will keep it simple. Global Threat Forum is intended as a place to discuss creative ideas and solutions around global risk. All submissions will be reviewed, good submissions will be approved, brief feedback provided in either case.

The idea for the blog came alongside a particular thought I had earlier this year about responsible disclosure and government policy regarding the (generally assumed) small possibility of a P = NP proof over the next half decade. The thought prompted me to start reading more about blogs and the internet and the way they work, which seeded this project as well as two others. I plan to write an article on the P = NP and responsible disclosure topic sometime over the next two months as a way of maturing that small idea into a seed of something solid, and as a prototype for the blog site I am here and now developing. There will also be a new post soon explaining more what this blog is about, and who precisely it is intended for (and why).

For now, the only thing left to say--and I say this to myself as much to as any future readers:
